New Area Suggestion

What will this area look like?

An underground biome that resembles the Ancient Ruins with several small holes in the cavern roof that shine sunlight onto the underground area. It is overgrown with nature and fungi.

What slimes will exist in this area?

Rocks Slimes, Tabby Slimes, Phosphor Slimes, Blind Slimes, Static Slimes, and Arachnid Slimes.

Blind Slimes are descendants of pink slimes that due to being underground lost their sight. However, because of their loss of sight they evolved to be able to hear extremely well, running away from the player as they approach.

Static Slimes are Quantum Slimes who fell into the Subterranean Ruins. The lack of phase lemons starved them, also making them deprived of there "ghosts" they used to teleport with. Due to this, they became grey and dull, losing their ability to teleport. Being near a Static Slimes obscures the player's vision slightly with a static effect unless they have an upgrade which negates this (cheap).

Arachnid Slimes are slimes that adapted to the Subterranean Ruins, using webs to connect to the walls and cavern ceiling to sling around and get where they want. Arachnid Slimes mostly stay with a few other Arachnid Slimes, so it's common to see 4 or 5 of them slinging around having a grand ol' time. However, if you get too close they may bite you.

What foods will exist in this new area?

Putrid Pogofruit (A fruit that resembles a normal Pogofruit, however it has a putrid smell around it that makes slimes avoid it (Except Blind Slimes as they favour this fruit. Putrid Pogofruit uses its scent to make slimes avoid it and therefore stop it from being eaten. Except this doesn't work with Blind Slimes as they absolutely love these fruits.)

Horned Apple (A fruit resembling an apple, however, it has small spikes on it that allow it to stick to slimes that attempt to eat it and uses this to get away from its parent tree and grow a tree out of itself, then the life cycle repeats. However, loose Horned Apple's can stick to the player for a few moments, causing a very small amount of damage each time).

What is the reason for this area to exist?

A semi-large section of the Ancient Ruins where the ground under it collapsed, causing it to fall into a large cavern. The slimes that were caught in this collapse weren't able to get out, forcing evolution and adaptation onto the slimes in order for them to survive.

How do you get to this area?

You get to it through a collapsed building within the Ancient Ruins, where you have to traverse collapsed rubble and pathways. At the end is a gordo that you have to feed in order to unblock the entrance.
