I'm confused. The BII is displaying the studies in alphanumeric order on NEBCs instance. Do you mean the BII data manager. If so this is a different tool and this bug should be files in the ISAvalidator... repo, not here.
However, I'm not sure how much development we'll be putting into the GUI of the BII data manager from now on since the command line tools appear to be much more popular and better for loading via ssh link to the host server for BII since X11 is slow.
Thanks,
Eamonn

I have been loaded 9 ISA datasets named NEBC-S-1 through to NEBC-S-2. I would expect the datasets to be ordered in alpha-numeric order on the webfront end but this does not seem to be the case. Instead I have had to reload in numeric order. I tried reordering the Lucene Index but this has not made any difference.
Is this behaviour as expected for the current BII data manager version? If so, please could we add indexing functionality so that in future datasets are indexed in study name/number alpha numeric order regardless of data loading order. It is very likely we would want to amend records and do not want to have to reload all in order each time this is done.

Hi Eamonn
It is not validator that is the issue, as I have not used ISAvalidator in this work. I attach some printscreens which I could not to the main issue list so you can see what I am seeing.

They are all part of the same package. The data manager, validator and converter are controlled by the same source.

So if this is a bug in the data manager, it should be lodged here, not in the BioInvIndex. It's a separate tool.

Apologies Eamonn I thought I had logged this under Data manager. Is there an easy way to move the issues I have logged or do I need to re log and close the wrongly allocated bugs?
Regards
Hazel
