After entering login data for the HMD error related to read.table

The problem is the subsequent unfinished code in line 14. Nothing gets downloaded or built but will be saved. We should make a simple pop up info without optional login to HMD.

The code runs fine with my credentials. Perhaps we should provide a more useful error message? (e.g. "Error in processsing. Please check your credentials by logging in directly at https://www.mortality.org.")
