Follow up to the comment above,
In our NFDI4DataScience domain, we define 'NFDI4DataScience Project' as ' A project that aims to develop, construct and establish a national research data infrastructure for the data science and artificial intelligence research community.'
We want to create 'NFDI4DataScience Project' as an instance of the 'nfdicore:Project' class and our suggestion for the definition of the 'nfdicore:Project' would be 'A project is a planned process of a scientific or business endeavor that aims to conclude an investigation or provide solutions to one or more problems.'
Dear all, I do have a question in regard to the visualization of Agents in https://ise-fizkarlsruhe.github.io/nfdicore/ . In the visualization NFDI4Culture is shown with rdf:type nfdicore:Project , but in the ontology NFDI4Culture is an example for nfdicore:Consortium, which is a subClass of nfdicore:Organization. So how is it related? I thought this was related to the question before.
"Project" is a "PlannedProcess". Dealing with "MatwerkProject", we probably refer to the designation or description of the project, which we need an "InformationContentEntity", not a "PlannedProcess"! Maybe it is better to change the label to "ProjectProcess", or improve its defination. Furthermore, the mentioned "Project" examples are not really representive.
I want to create 'NFDI4DataScience project' as an instance of nfdicore:Project Class. nfdicore:Project is defined as "A planned process of a scientific or business endeavor that aims to conclude an investigation or to answer a research question." Since 'NFDI4DataScience project' does not aim to answer a specific research question, I am unable to use the class nfdicore:Project. Would you please consider editing the definition if it is Ok?
