View Instrument Dashboard #47

As a scientist, instrument scientist, support person or simply as an interested person I want to be able to view, from a remote PC, the current status of an instrument.

  1. I can select instrument for which I wish to view the dashboard (i.e. current status).
  2. I can view the dashboard of the selected instrument from a remote PC.
  3. The dashboard is regularly refreshed (automatically)
  4. I can refresh the dashboard manually (i.e. on demand).

There is already a system in place to achieve this requirement - i.e. the instrument web dashboard. In the old control system, the web dashboard pages are generated by SECI If the new control system adopts a simialr mechanism for generating the web dashboard, this ticket will be trivially implemented.

No longer relevant - the IBEX dashboard now implements this functionality. In effect, this ticket is superseded by others.
