CHIPIR: OPI for Filter Set #6217

As a CHIPIR scientist I want to be able to control the beamline filter set in experiments.

Acceptance Criteria

  1. Using the IBEX client, I can control the beamline filters (move them in/out of the beam in any combination)
  2. Using genie_python, I can control the beamline filters (move them in/out of the beam in any combination)

Notes

  1. The filters are Galil controlled.
  2. Check the CHIPIR Instrument wiki.
  3. The OPI must offer functionality equivalent to the existing VI (located here: C:\LabVIEW Modules\Instruments\CHIPIR\CHIPIR Filter Set).
    • @davidkeymer did the original LabVIEW implementation. Consult @davidkeymer for details.
  4. Note (from Project Board Meeting 11-02-2021):
    1. CHIPIR is getting a new secondary shutter in 2021
    2. The Filters will be incorporated into the shutter design
    3. Need to liaise with Motion Control group to discover what changes.
