Reflectometry: Beamline Alignment System Test (Discussion)

As a reflectometry scientist, I would like to feel confident that the system still works after code changes. POLREF scientists have suggested a system test running through a full beamline alignment would likely catch a majority of errors. As this seems like quite a big job, we should first have a discussion with the scientists to understand exactly how they want this test to look, exactly what value it provides over the current set of unit / IOC tests, and how feasible this is to implement.

• Meet with POLREF scientists to discuss potential beamline alignment system test
• Write up requirements of this test
• Write ticket for implementation

POLREF will start recording their procedure for alignment as a basis for discussion what this test could look like in practice
