As an instrument scientist, I have a large number of thresholds to be set (100+) and would like to be able to load them from a file rather than inputting each manually.

Acceptance Criteria

[ ] Thresholds can be sent to the device into the IOC from a user supplied file
[ ] Ability to scan up and down by equal amounts on each channel using scripts

[format to be added when supplied by scientists]

I think there may already be a python file to do this?

The python file that already exists bypasses the IOC, they would like the OPI to have a record of the fact that the script has run at the desired values, and auto-send on restarts.
