This request is still valid. There are identified use cases for the standardization. Some member bodies are considering to start a project. This request has been discussed at the WG10 meeting in Redlands, CA, USA on 11/28/2016.

The need for a standard in this area is strong, especially from operation point of view. There is no new work item proposal at this moment, but we might be able to get one next year.

This project is still valid. However, there is a lack of ressources.
