19115-1 and use of Set/Sequence/Bag from older ISO 19103 editions #482

Open heidivanparys opened 5 months ago

heidivanparys commented 5 months ago

In the upcoming ISO 19103 edition, the data types Set, Sequence and Bag will be completely removed. In ISO 19103:2015, it was already stated that the collection template were only retained for backward compatibility.

Although some property definitions in ISO 19115-1 were already updated in ISO 19115-1:2014/Amd 1:2018, some property definitions still need to be updated in the model and the data dictionaries. This concerns the properties referring to B.2.6 Set and Sequence information. In addition, that part of Annex B should be removed.

Background information: This issue is the result of comment 429 on the DIS, stating that ISO 19115 should be notified not to use Set, Bag or Sequence.
