Value Error #7

So, I seem to encounter errors daily in my lifetime without a fix, and my only hope for a solution is to ask here. I have seen the Troubleshooting section, seen everybody posting about another nil value error here, but that's not what I am experiencing.

I did hold the tool, before you ask that.

Running on Windows 11 23H2 ( Build 22631.3085 )

I'm getting an error about nil values:

Error:...sers\TraoX_\Downloads\netflix\netflix\autorun\roblox.lua:206: attempt to compare two nil values
stack traceback:
    ...sers\TraoX_\Downloads\netflix\netflix\autorun\roblox.lua:206: in method 'GetChildren'
    ...sers\TraoX_\Downloads\netflix\netflix\autorun\roblox.lua:283: in function <...sers\TraoX_\Downloads\netflix\netflix\autorun\roblox.lua:93>

Running on the Roblox UWP ( Version 2.609.387 - a086c3 )

Here is my screenshot:

How to reproduce the error (step by step):

  1. Join the baseplate game
  2. Hold tool
  3. Press "Inject"
  4. Wait a bit.

try not holding the tool clicking inject and if it doesnt give the error and says something like injected enjoy equip the tool

Trao-X commented 5 months ago

It does not work and it complains about localBackpack ( I don't think it was called localBackpack, since I have bad memory but it was something related to backpacks.

Dont hold the tool. This error (Attempt to compare 2 nil values + GetChildren) occurs when you try to hold the tool at once. im g onna try to fix this soon

This error may occur also when youre trying to inject with the game's Players being re-named. Also occurs when Backpack in the Players were renamed to something else. Re-join via baseplate and inject (if errors still occur, re-install NCE)

Trao-X commented 5 months ago

It is giving me a new error, I have reinstalled NCE and re-joined the baseplate game multiple times, but it is still giving me the error, I have also run it with administrator permissions:

Error:C:\Users\TraoX_\Downloads\Netflix CE\autorun\roblox.lua:337: attempt to index a nil value (local 'targetScript')
stack traceback:
    C:\Users\TraoX_\Downloads\Netflix CE\autorun\roblox.lua:337: in function <C:\Users\TraoX_\Downloads\Netflix CE\autorun\roblox.lua:93>

i tried today using NCE in prison life and it worked all the time (2 out of 2). this happens only when the tool does not have a localscript in it OR you've edited NCE try running nce via netflixprocesshandler.bat or getting another tool

It complained to me about some .DLL files, so when I did download them, it didn't work and instead threw this error at me. I've installed all dependencies listed in the README.md file, am I doing something wrong?
