The current UI in r109 isn't very helpful, which is something I'll try to fix
soon.
Anyways, the Waiting for Host window is triggered when the client attempts to
enter the game when the host hasn't yet started his game (regardless of whether
the client is connected or not). Unless you looking carefully at the log on the
console you may not be able to tell if you're connected. If you are, great.
Simply have the host load his character, then the client should be able to load
into the game.

r120 should have this mostly resolved, I've added several new UI windows to
display the status of the client.
