There are a lot of possible options which status icons people may want to see on the page:

Priority
Overdue / other timing
With attachments
With related
Blocks / is blocked
With subtasks / is subtask / etc
Was delegated / is delegated
Related task
...

So, most probably, we'd like to have a single 'status' column with configurable visual notifications.
