...anything you think we should talk through in a phone call...?

dump your suggestions below

Some topic ideas:

gotom22 commented 6 years ago

"Tool structure" : we have some rough outlines (and likely more refined ideas) of how ITHIM-R could and should be structured, compartmentalized, split into modules, workstreams etc. Thinking from tool interface perspective may be quite helpful for this. In (one of) the next calls we should invest in defining the "framework" we build the model pieces into.

Agenda for 8/3/2018

  1. Recap, overview and discussion of where we're at (big picture):
    • revisit scope of project by summer and beyond
    • an update on current thinking about tool structure, modules, main workstreams. And documentation of such (Wiki, Flowcharts, etc.)
    • review roles and expectations, available capacity, specific tasks to tackle, lead on, etc. (for ideas on tasks, pls create Github issues)

After a series of calls on in depth substance of various bits and pieces, I hope we can make some dent into how we'll tie them together.

  1. Time permitting, we suggest to complement above revisiting the more hands-on issue of "Mode definitions in ITHIM-R"
    • think of it as a pilot for "data harmonization approaches" in generell
    • how can we match "various mode definitions in input data" with "generic mode definitions used by ITHIM"?
    • what should the generic definitions be?
    • how should this be implemented technically? (anywhere from hard coded for starters, some use of codebooks, to flexible shiny interface...)
    • who wants to take this on?
    • for inspiration, see issue #14

4/18/18

We'll continue the conversation around the CRA function/health impact calculation, as presented last week by Sam.

This week, Marko will present calculations comparing individual level vs. aggregated approaches.

Based on these, the plan to proceed is as follows:

1) explore comparison of impact calculations based on Marko's inputs 2) integrate with Sam's approach (ideally in a (set of) R function(s)) 3) discuss, identify what data (levels of aggregation) users will realistically have at hand, and collect some example datasets to base future work on. 4) further define scenario definition approaches with 3) in mind.

26/4 Belen will present on PMSLT ..the week after some topic related to Joe Spadaro's work (@JDWoodcock anything specific in mind? Vehicle data?)
