Hey my name is Martin Jæger Nielsen and I work for the Danish company called "Tasklet Factory". Let me short introduce my function at work. I work as and business intelligence assistance at Tasklet Factory. This means I handle most of the companies data in Power Bi. Right now I use your Tool to export data from our CRM system into Power Bi which works really well I most say. This is done by the power query app. The problems atm is that if I at some point should hand over this project so another co-worker he doesn't know which tabels I have check on in XRM-tool box. Is there any way where you can take your script from XRM and unravel which steps you have done to make this specific script?

Could be awesome if you can unravel the script so you can see which boxes were checked like in this attached photo This just help that if I should at some point handed over the project the person hasn't have to do it all over again and guess which box I have checked

Hi Martin, I had a similar issue when working with a customer so we agreed to create views in a CRM Solution (e.g. Power BI Account, Power BI Incident, etc.) and add the fields we want in Power BI in the views. So the view is the contract.

If I wan't a new field in Power BI I first have to add it to the view and then regenerate the M query from the view in Power Query Builder.

There are tools in XrmToolBox for editing the view so you don't need to switch between XrmToolBox and CRM.
