@randalldfloyd : I merged this pull request for Newton ... when could you update the severs? There's another pull request pending but we wanted to resolve this one to avoid conflicts. Thanks!

@randalldfloyd : in newton meeting now ... catching up ... has dev been updated? I just issued another merge so I want to make sure the newton team is paying attention so we can test dev once ready.

Regarding my last comment, I was confusing this with #122. Yes this was deployed to devel on 3/9.
