Hi - understandable, as it's work in progress.
1.06 was released with the bespoke IUPAC/InChI Licence in 2020.
Moving to Github it's an opportunity to move to a standard licence - at our June meeting, MIT seemed to be the most applicable, so we have used this for the github repo. I tried to remove the old one at the top, but it appears in a few places in the tree
However, this is subject to surveying our stakeholders and formally agreeing with the Trust and IUPAC that MIT is the right one to release new versions under. And an informed view if we can (or should) apply this to current and older versions in place of the bespoke one.
There are two (conflicting) licences available: https://github.com/IUPAC-InChI/InChI_1_06/blob/master/LICENCE.pdf (which currently does not display correctly but works via download)
and MIT licence: https://github.com/IUPAC-InChI/InChI_1_06/blob/master/LICENSE
Which should apply? The PDF says 2020 (last page), the MIT 2022.
