What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. selecting load game
2. then choosing From DVD
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Error Unable to open directory! Press A to continue.

What version of the emulator are you using (official, SVN revision,...)?
1.6.0

Please provide any additional information below (Emulator settings, Console
setting,...)

The dvd i burned was burned in iso9660+joliet format using imgburn, there are 4
different folders of roms in the root for different systems, the sega folder
has 700+roms, split amongst 3 folders, each folder containing less than 300
roms each. First time i tried to load i got a DIS error, but each time i do it
now, i get the error above. It says mounting DVD, and seems like its going to
load, but then i get this error? Any ideas, otherwise its a great program, just
wish i could have all my roms on dvd and load from the dvd, thanks.

Have you try to load thar DVD in other emulators (snes9x-gx,...) ?
I know that recent Wiis have different drive model that have been fixed and
won't accept burned homebrew dvd like older models.

Also make sure there is a <no_ios_reload> line in the meta.xml file used by
homebrew channel to load genplusgx (usually in /apps/genplus on your SD or
USB), it is required for homebrew to have access to DVD drive and be able to
read the media.

Otherwise, DVD loading is working fine on my side and i doesn't do anything
special beside using provided library functions, so i can hardly "fix" anything.

i will try with another emulator and see if it works, yea i was just wondering
if i did something wrong with the DVD, i saw some else some where else post
that they used an older ver of imgburn and the dvd loading problem they were
having was resolved, but there wasnt any follow up as to which ver of imgburn
etc. The first dvd i burned was definately wrong and caused the crash, as i
think the format was wrong, but this second one i felt i did right, there
werent any other options really, do you think it has anything to do with the
format with which i burned? Also i used a DVD+R, an hp disc i believe? i dont
think theres anything wrong with your software.

Also yes teh no ios reload line is in the meta file, and its in the
apps/genplus dir. Anyother insight would be appreciated
