Accrescent is a more secure Play Store replacement than F-Droid. https://accrescent.app. It would be nice if it would be published on there.

"more secure" ? By what standards? :)

May I ask why this is not planned? Notable open-source projects such as Organic Maps and Aves Gallery (Aves Gallery Libre version too) are available on Accrescent.

Accrescent is also officially recommended by GrapheneOS as it is a very secure app store. You can read more about Accrescent and its security features on its website here. One thing to note is that Accrescent is still in early alpha. Here is the developer documentation for getting your app added.

Could be good to compete with Aves Gallery on Accrescent :)

@licaon-kter, replying with a laughing emoji to constructive criticism is not very correct behavior...

Fdroid is objectively insecure compared to other alternatives now.

@graphene1over update your privacy guide sa it won't lie first

also your nick is so much objective, wow

How about this constructive: add Accrescent to F-Droid, build reproducible

@licaon-kter

update your privacy guide sa it won't lie first

I do not maintain any "privacy guides", please elaborate on what you mean, are you talking about netrunner? That's the only website I contribute to. Additionally I would be glad if you support your arguments with sources, tell me exactly what's wrong, and why.

How about this constructive: add Accrescent to F-Droid, build reproducible

Reproducible builds have had issues historically, often being outdated, etc. Additionally, you always trust the dev.

I don't think that's a bad idea though, why not make an issue for Accrescent?

also your nick is so much objective, wow

not sure what you even mean by that.

Hello again,

I'm not sure if you have already started work on this or not but if you haven't then it would be best not to. The developer of Accrescent is not currently ready to open Accrescent to all app developers that want to submit their app and so, the developer list is in allow-list mode only. It would be best to wait until Accrescent is at a stable point in its development where they are accepting app submissions from any developer.
