i dislike that for image editing, i am forced to save a copy and then wait for the gallery to update, then delete the original image. oftentimes i would like to replace the original image outright

in the image editor, a button next to the "Save copy" button titled "Overwrite" would be very cool
Describe alternatives you've considered
an alternative would be setting a default image editor which opens without having to click on "More", but that would defeat the purpose of the editor
