I also propose a UI change in this screenshot.
Instead of "+1", "+5", "-1", "-5", we can using icons with balls. More intuitive and cleaned (as UI I mean).
One ball is one kilogram. Three balls are five kilograms.
Minus and plus symbols are placed on top, sidely in their respective columns.
If I find some icons on web I show you here.
I found this one on the web.
Just to have an idea. Only the balls, nothing else.
What do you think?
I personally this negative weight is a good way to start if you want to do assistance training. Like assisted pull ups or other assisted variants. A good progression would to remove assistance by 2.5 KG or 5 KG every week
I need to do a search online. I have no idea about "negative weight" and "assisted training".
I train me alone.
Do you train at home?
Mostly yes. In my town administration is building a calisthenics area close my home (maybe ready in next four months).
My idea is using both with one app (when rain I train at home necessarily).
Aah, the app is not necessarily built for calisthenics but I think you can still use it for simple tracking purposes.
I will be adding info about different stuffs in the app like:
Will you introduce the "equipment" section when I create a new exercise?
This would help the user to look for an exercise also according to the tools he owns or has available at that time.
I will think about it, but I dont promise it, as I am targeting lifters who go to gym and this app is basically my journal for my self. And I think you know, I alone cannot master everything so I will be targeting and improving what I will be using and will think about other thinks later
This app could having potential. In two/three years you can build your equipment store (dumbbells, training bands, etc.) that work tailored with your plans. And you will have your economic gain for your work. I see this.
Yes, it would be great. But the app is designed to shit on organizations which provide similar experience (there apps are obviously better than this) for a load of money, or with loads of ads.
I know there are some really good apps which are paid like RP Hypertrophy App and the Jeff Nippard app. And I cannot compete with them at all as they are PHd holders and also really really experienced and smart people unlike me. I get inspirations on how to train from them.
I suggest following Renaissance Periodization, Jeff Nippard, Menno Henselmans, Milo Wolf for best and up to date science based training. They also have some Home Workout videos which can help you progress.
Disclaimer: the host of Renaissance Periodization, i.e. Dr. Mike Israetel, make some NSFW jokes and his humor is rather sarcastic, so only follow them if you can take those.
I am not so professional 😊. I only want training my body (mostly) at home, with no or few equipment (mostly portable to the calisthenics area, like bands) but also dumbbells.
For these purpose I used Freeletics (currently I use it) and years ago I used Mark Lauren app.

Negative reps have been fixed but weight is like an assistance, so I will keep it.

How do you calculate the assistance push in kg?
