Issues arising from two-screen view #59

This is a catch-all issue for some problems arising from the addition of two-screen view in the current (unreleased) code.

Don't go to 2-windows mode unless requested; use "standard" F5/ShiftF5!

Scaling seems off (or way off) in the first file opened (from cmd line?)

Open and close do not update the Control frame.

I've made single-monitor the default on all systems; you can enable the still-experimental multi-monitor code with -m or --multiple-monitor.
