The two-monitor code is too aggressive; should be a switch to control it, either -s to force single-window mode or make that the default and add a -m for multi-monitor. Which is preferable?
Made -s the default, and warn if you use -m when there's only one monitor. Multi-Monitor mode is still considered experimental.
