Many of us you different youtube downloaders or torrent downloads which there are times there is a need to convert a video file on the spot instead of having to transfer it to another pc to convert it and back. Also if someone is running casaos on a machine that has dvdrom/bluray they can rip their media directly to their server. From time to time I find files that are downloaded from youtube that need to be converted so they will correctly play streamed over Jellyfin.
