R720 Virtual disk / Raidcontroller recognition #96

Hi everyone,

I have a Dell PowerEdge R720 with ZimaOS installed, featuring 22 900GB HDDs and a 2TB SSD for the system. I'm experiencing an issue where ZimaOS doesn't seem to recognize my RAID controller (H710P Mini) or the RAID 6 volume I've set up. As a result, I have to connect the SSD via USB and can't utilize my HDDs.

Interestingly, when I boot into Ubuntu, the virtual volume is recognized, so it doesn't appear to be a hardware issue with the RAID controller itself.

Could this be a driver issue with ZimaOS, or is it an OS compatibility problem? Is there a way to add support for certain RAID controllers in ZimaOS?

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

I'll check to see if this driver is available, and if it is, it should be able to be integrated in the next version.

Were you unable to select the disc when you did?
