Instructions don’t work #4

The instructions make no mention of what ${caldav-service-url} and ${carddav-service-url} actually are supposed to be… I have radicale running locally and have been using it for years with my a client on my phone and with Thunderbird, and the web interface is reachable via https://127.0.0.1:5232/. Yet when I install this shim with

./install.sh --cal "https://127.0.0.1:5232/" --card "https://127.0.0.1:5232/"

I still can’t connect to http://localhost:8223 via the browser or via adding a Nextcloud to Gnome, even though the instructions say that’s what I should do next. (No rebooting or logging out is mentioned.)

It’s obvious this can’t work, since, and I then thought to check, the service isn’t started. And starting it is very much non-trivial, with all the madness of systemd.

I think for radicale it should be http://127.0.0.1:5232/yourradicaleusername
