The documentation for object definitions (i.e. http://docs.icinga.org/latest/en/objectdefinitions.html) gives a good description of what the parameters do, and what possible values they have. However, to find their default values, it appears that I have to dig into the source of xodtemplate_begin_object_definition() in xdata/xodtemplate.c. It would be a lot nicer if the same object definition documentation listed what the default value of each parameter is, if it's omitted from the definition.
