The google cronk is just a little demo to show how external contents can be added via iframes, therefore this bug can be closed.
If someone uses iGoogle and needs a search engine, he can also use Bing ;)

If you are going to use the "google" button in the new icinga interface it will always link you to google.com if you are using iGoogle.
