I use the example-cronk "gridHostViewCV" to extend the default grid view with customvariables. The search box in the upper-right corner is unable to find any customvariable-values.

Maybe the customvar-rows in the grid view are not handled in the same way as the default rows. I think there is a connection with bug #9296 (cannot sort customvariables).

Allow to search for custom variables (disabled by default)

Override the search settings in etc/conf.d/module_cronks.xml for enabling custom variable search.
