New blog entries -> email / twitter ? #225

I noticed the new blog entry by going to the web site (I'm not following the RSS feed). Would you guys consider sending new blog entries to the existing mailing list (people not using RSS and not checking the website can't figure out what's new) ?

What about having a twitter account for that same purpose (and plugin updates, i.e. like RSS) ?

I had a look to some API to access twitter. Could be cool indeed.

Just like you, I thought we could output news/blog on it, but I find out It could be also easy to read and provide display on the icy website about what is said about icy. that's great isn't it ?
