gambling! put X money down, have a chance of getting more or less or nothing back - double down to, if you win, get another gambling to make back exponentially more.

multi-tiered decisions
Instead of yes/no choices you make a decision that would lead to another decision ect with positive / negative outcomes.

<web:Aviatros [Tired Foot] [20]> now, as there are events that dont just get answered by yes or no, i'd like to see MUD-like events. "you are in a corridor intersection, where you go?" - left (eaten by a grue), right (fall into a pit), middle (win some treasure)

this can be similar to the suggestion above
