should shops be smaller, but more precise? #828

ie, should there be a "charm shop" that sells rings, amulets, and charms? an armor shop? a weapon shop?

Obviously this doesn't always apply, but larger towns like frigri might benefit from this, as it would put a bit more into the town. The one thing to note, though, is that this means shops are much smaller.

It can already be hard to look at shops sometimes. When you're bouncing around the border of the town and reading what items are available, then they all disappear before you get a chance to read them all. At higher levels when you're likely to have haste, being in a small location doesn't last very long.

That's more or less what I was thinking too, I just wanted to toss it out there. I'm going to close this for now but it may be possible to implement this later, provided we come up with a good way to do it.
