Hi, I'm interested in using your model and integrating it into a larger pipeline, but I need to know the license under which you are open-sourcing the project. So, I'd appreciate it if you could provide some clarification regarding what license has the project has been released under.

Hello, I have not setup any type of licensing. However, please check with Bioinformatics if there is any other license over it. I would assume not.

Hi @Ieremie, sorry for the late reply. You have not included the code as part of the SI of the paper, so I don't think the license agreement you have signed with the company would include the software license.

If you intended for anyone to be free to use and adapt your code, you could include an open-source license to the repository to specify the terms under which you are sharing your code. There are predefined templates in Github that you can use and just upload to the repo. For example, the MIT license will give anyone freedom to use, modify, and distribute your code for any purpose including commercial, but other licenses, might not.
