tmp directory missing & icons gone... #267

I ran spacefm as root because I was compiling and there was a lot of files left in /tmp that I wanted to delete quickly so I just used SpaceFM, but in doing so, I also deleted the temporary directory it creates everytime you use it, not the spacefm.tmp.

I guess the last time I saw this tmp directory it appears with different numbers on it?. Well I can't figure how to get this tmp directory to show up again. I uninstalled spacefm cleaned everything out and even rebooted and then reinstalled it, still no good, I only get the spacefm.tmp path...

Why won't it recreate this tmp directory over?

Looking over the manual I believe this is the one not getting created;

spacefm-USERNAME-RANDOM.tmp/

THANKS

There were no changes affecting icons in 0.8.6.

SpaceFM creates its temporary directories as needed.

SpaceFM always created the spacefm-USERNAME-RANDOM.tmp/ when I ran it, now it doesn't and because of this, it no longer displays any GUI icons...

Please don't close this, there's a bug here regarding the spacefm-USERNAME-RANDOM.tmp/ no longer being created...

Here's a screen shot showing how there's now no icons for the gui, taskbar or help - about;
