Currently file rename command (F2 by default) launches a separate window, which is a bit inconvenient as you lose focus to this new window. In many other file managers a simpler inline rename action is used
It would be great if there were an additional command inline rename that would allow renaming a file in the main window and ideally cycle between the following types of selection for convenience (on repeaded presses of the shortcut bound to this command)
Select file name without extension
Deselect file name and move cursor to the end of the file name (without extension) - so that you can just add e.g. number 1 to the end of a file without
