Cannot close search/find window in i3 tiling window manager #752

After opening the search feature in spacefm, I cannot close the search window without killing spacefm processes via terminal. No single or combination keys will close the window (ctrl+q, mod+q, ctrl+w, esc). There are no window decorations/title bar available to close the window.

Desired behavior: either respond to relevant key presses or provide a button to close.

In i3, the default keybind for killing a window is mod-shift-q, which works on the find window. But it'd be nice if the function were exposed so we could edit the action.

For years I have used i3 and spacefm, and totally missed out on mod- shift-q. Thank you for this tidbit, it closes the window and that's all I needed. Not sure if this would be best closed, or re-assigned as a feature request? On Fri, 2020-03-06 at 08:05 -0800, brimston3 wrote:
