Subtitle preview in player isn't updated properly

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Play the video or
2. manually jump to the position of a line and then somewhere where there's no 
subtitle.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The subtitle won't disappear in the player when the position becomes "outside" 
of a line.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SE 3.3 rev 1311 under Windows XP SP3

Please provide any additional information below.
As a temporary workaround, with DirectVobSub installed, I can see another 
instance of the subtitle in the video review that is updated correctly. 
However, I have to save after adding/modifying each line in order to see the 
changes taking effect.
