About battery life #4

Hi, I appreciate all the hardwork and effort you did on this laptop for hackintosh.

This is not an issue, but this is the only way that I could get through with you, I'm here to ask if you issues battery drain fast.

I have a different set of model X556UQK and manage boot up the system, but I'm currently running into battery draining issues.

I did all the power management using CPUFRIEND, CPUFRIENDFRIEND for the kext provider and set everything to the lowest frequency but still encounter this issue.

Do you know what might be causing it ??

for now I have not experienced the issue of battery draining. maybe you haven't found the right configuration for your device. you can see this or this documentation. it's not enough to just use CPUFriend and make sure you turn off the discrete gpu.
