Reconstructed Pressure #8

Great job! I notice that the pressure is not reconstructed in AccelerateCFD. It's very useful for us to predict the pressure as simulations tend to obtain the fluid flow induced forces on the structure.

Thanks for you interest! Pressure reconstruction is being actively worked on. If you wish to provide a few more details about your problem (either here or to tpgrunloh@illinoisrocstar.com), I would be happy to evaluate whether our planned approach is sufficient for your model needs

The POD utility is very powerful and helps me a lot. Thanks for the excellent job. The pressure reconstruction is also very helpful to me. Do you have a plan to implement the pressure reconstruction into the code and release in the near future?@tpgrunloh I want to add the pressure reconstruction in my thesis to make the results more integrated. I found that FieldView and Octave could also be used for the POD and flow reconstruction. However,it will cost extra time and effort to learn and understand two extra programs(FieldView and Octave). Thanks!
