Implement GraphQL #104

It looks like our api usage patterns could be complimented by using GraphQL. Not entirely sure yet but it's worth a look.

Thanks for your offer! I'll need to draft up the design and chat with @stretch1414 who is the primary frontend developer to see how this will look. I'll update here as that develops.
