The gem of rifts and the End

For some reason when you attempt to use the gem of rifts in the End only 9 chunks will load. You can't open a new rift, or break blocks, but you can build. I've also had the floor randomly not load when I use a rift in the end. Both of these issues can be fixed by rejoining the world.
