masady's mods such as Litematica, Tweakaroo, MiniHud being added as keybind options #6

I am looking to use this mod with some of masady's mods such as Litematica, Tweakaroo, MiniHud. They are not showing up in the keybinds section of the Quic kMenu mod. I was wondering if this could be a feature added as it would be very useful!

ImCodist commented 1 year ago

It looks like these mods are using their own dedicated hotkey system. I could attempt to add support for these mods in the future, but that is unlikely.

Gotcha, makes sense. MaLiLib is his library mod that sets up his hotkey system I believe.

Perhaps the mod "QuickBind" can help you. It already has a feature implemented for using keys from other mods. However, the developer hasn't released updates for the mod for a year now. Therefore, if possible, I kindly request adding this feature. With it, the mod would be much better. Thank you! (This text is translated through ChatGPT)

I want to find a way to use MaLiLib without requiring the user to have it. Then I'd be able to implement support for these mods.

Perhaps take a look at https://github.com/JumperOnJava/JumpersPizzeria, it has options to invoke actions from Masa's mods, without having them as hard dependencies.

this feature would be great, masa's mods have a bunch of complicated key binds that you need to memorize and this would really simplify the usage of these mods, maybe instead of adding MaLiLib integration you can add an action that simulates a keypress as a way around it

I agree this feature would be awesome!
