Are there OSC commands to speed up or slow down to bring it to a specific speed?
Hi @progressmedia, @7sorkr,
Imaginary Teleprompter is no longer in active development, so it won't be getting OSC support unless someone steps up to make this contribution. The only requirements are that the feature can run on Windows, Mac, and Linux, and that the contributor complies with the terms of Imaginary Teleprompter's free software license. I will continue to support Imaginary Teleprompter to the extent of making sure the program runs on newer systems, but I'm only developing new features myself for my new teleprompter app, QPrompt.
I created QPrompt after hitting performance limitations to what is possible to do with Imaginary Teleprompter's architecture. QPrompt does not support OSC yet, but the feature has been requested over there as well, so there are plans to add support eventually. OSC support won't make it any time soon, other features and protocols have higher priority. (Priority is decided based on surveys in which Patreon supporters choose which features I work on.)
What will likely make it this year is the ability to press a number and have the prompter instantly jump to a given speed. @progressmedia, if you can convert OSC commands to keyboard inputs, you could achieve what you want with QPrompt once that feature is in.
