Issue submitted Nov 3, 2020 - somehow as of Nov 4 there is still no confirmation of receipt, and no ticket assigned.
IDC needs API mechanism to be able to identify all artifacts that are
included in the collection and to monitor updates to those artifacts.
Right now we need to scrape collection wiki pages to identify such
artifacts. These include, as an example, annotations in non-DICOM
format, clinical data spreadsheets, pathology images. Sometime
pointers on the collections wiki pages are to zip files on external
resources, such as Box, without a convention to communicate the
content of the linked artifact.
Some plan on how those various items could eventually be exposed via
API would be appreciated.
