Issue with Zoom behavior on SLIM in Production tier for TCGA image slides #63

Open pgundluru opened 2 years ago

pgundluru commented 2 years ago

@dclunie @wlongabaugh has identified an issue with straight Zoom in SM viewer on 6/15/2022

(Slide: TCGA-OR-A5J2-01A-01-TS1)

Zooming straight in (no panning) gives inconsistent zoom and black boxes in image

There are 2 series associated with this case ID and the other one doesn't have this particular issue so it may be a isolated issue with the particular slide [https://viewer.imaging.datacommons.cancer.gov/slim/studies/2.25.1968773166470585490271203004388[…]1.5962.99.1.3144471409.451958541.1639527043953.2.0]

I could not reproduce this behavior -the same slide zooms and pans fine for me.

dclunie commented 2 years ago

Actually I withdraw that comment - I zoomed too fast - there seems to be a problem with an intermediate layer - I will investigate

dclunie commented 2 years ago

The old conversion logs suggest this is one that had an issue that may be related to the "empty tile" SVS issue, which should be addressed by the upcoming reconversion - this slide should be a good test case.

This is duplicate of https://github.com/herrmannlab/slim/issues/97, will keep open until confirm with the re-converted data.

Thanks for investigating @dclunie.

fedorov commented 2 years ago

@dclunie I confirmed this works with the re-converted dataset!
