IGK and IGL genes #4

I have been using IgDetective and find it quite useful. I noticed that, currently, IgDetective does not predict IGK and IGL loci. If I were to copy the FASTA sequences of IGK and IGL loci from IMGT and put them in the human_reference_genes directory would IgDetective.py predict V, D and J loci in the K and L clusters as well?

Hi Vamsi,

Thank you for your interest in IgDetective!

We are planning to introduce modifications that will make it possible to predict light chain genes during this week. If you just replace files in human_reference_genes, you'd be able to predict IGL genes but not IGK because they have different RSS spacer patterns.

If you don't mind waiting a bit, I'd be happy to let you know when we have an extended version.

That's fantastic! Thank you.
