Tracers stop working all of the time #1172

Describe the bug For whatever reason my tracers stop working all the time. I then delete all impact files, redownload them, reconfigure the whole mod and then they work again for some while. then I will have to restart the cycle.

To Reproduce I can't find concise ways to reproduce this, mostly i recognized this happening after switching accounts (I use an alt for the server i play on). It happened a few times when I had two different instances of minecraft open (each with one account logged in) but it also happened after simply switching minecraft accounts. so idk.

Expected behavior I think all I want is for tracers to work when I need them lol

Glad to see Franky is on

Do any other mods randomly break? When Tracers stops working is it fixable just by changing Tracers settings? Can you restore your config from an earlier version to fix this?

When i delete config and reconfigure it works for some time. Another thing i noticed just this night is:

I left my dude autofishing over nicgt with the tracers NOT working, but when i came bakc this morning without doign anything the tracers wer working again.

I assume that "not working" just means that they dont draw at all? Or do they only draw to some entities, or types of entities?

uhm yes this is only one issue, i just added info to that same issue i made this thread for.

@leijurv Yes, tracers not drawing at all. Search tracers, however, did draw.

Anyone know a way to reproduce this?

@leijurv I can't find a way to consistently reproduce it, but it seems this bug is inconsistent in nature anyways. Just a few days ago I had tracers draw to one player and not to another one, both equally close to me.

For me one way to provoke the issue was autofhishing for a whole night, usually if tracers worked before starting to fish they wouldn't work when i came back to my pc the next day.

In all honesty though, i did just stop caring about the tracers recently and didn't pay attention to them. I think i have them on constantly and sometimes they show and sometimes they don't.

I have this issue also. Extremely annoying
