QUESTIONS
Some of these donation pages aren’t clearly associated with the project (e.g. aisafety.info accepts donations via every.org under the name “Stampy’s AI Safety Info,” which is hard to find on the page)— is it better to link to the main website in that case?
Should I update or ignore these?
These don't have donation buttons but request that you contact them to donate. Should I update with the links to their contact pages or ignore these?
DONATION LINKS, WILL UPDATE THESE
NO DONATION LINKS, WILL IGNORE
AI Safety Camp doesn't have one yet, but soon.
Update: Linda has set it up, and I've added it to the project.
Oh, and you can directly unhide the projects that accept donations when all the data is complete.
UPDATED AND UN-HIDDEN
QUESTIONS Effektiv Spenden - you can only donate to the global catastrophic risk fund (or other charities unrelated to AI), not to Effektiv Spenden itself; should I skip them? (Effective Giving Quest has the same issue)
The Lunar Society Podcast only lets you subscribe to their substack; does this count as a "donation" for GiveWiki's purposes?
TODO ALTER (waiting on response from David re: whether ALTER accepts donations)
Awesome! Tyyy! :tada:
Effektiv Spenden: Yeah, there's someone of ES I need to nudge anyway, or maybe I'll run into them at some event. Then I can ask.
Lunar Society: It's not even a paid subscription if I see that correctly. So no… A pity; I love that podcast! ^.^
OK cool! Then apart from potentially Ashgro, which David Manheim from ALTER pointed us to, I think these are all done!
Excellent, thank you! I'll close it then.
These projects are still without tags, payment URLs, and descriptions, but should have them:
They are sorted by their current support score, so the higher up they are, the more urgent it is that they get some love.
AI safety
and usuallyOrganization
. Maybe there are other fitting tags in some cases. If I included a project that has really nothing to do with AI safety, then that was by accident. Please ignore it.[This project was created by the GiveWiki team. Please visit the website of the organization for more information on their work.]
