At present, the gperf-fallback.sh script is not present within the scripts directory. It looks like this file may be generated as part of the autoconf process but the version generated seems to output a warning message rather than acting as a fallback option when gperf is not available.
If you have the gperf tool installed on your system when you attempt to configure/build, this shouldn't cause an issue but if gperf is not present, you'll likely encounter this issue.
This needs resolving by identifying what should be in place within the repository in terms of a gperf-fallback.sh script and then adding this.
