PlantsModel missing API documentation hooks #379

Describe the bug There are no .md files to hook the docstrings from the PlantsModel into the sphinx build.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Look at source/api
  2. Note the missing plants directory.
  3. Wonder why @davidorme forgot to include these.

Expected behavior See some .md files for the plants model.
